Romantic Bed And Bath Ideas - Hold a Spa Night to Remember

By Dave Pipitone

Romance in your marriage is a two-way street. If you are trying to revive some romance in your marriage, let your wife know what you are trying to do and enjoy the creative process together.

It is important to know your partner well enough to know whether your changed behavior will be a pleasant surprise OR just perceived as odd or unusual behavior.

Schedule a secret evening – don’t tell your wife what you have in mind, and give her a ‘spa night’ to remember. From the moment they walk in the door, don’t let her lift a finger.

Draw a bath with lovely scented oils and candles in the bathroom, wash her back gently, play soft music, serve a glass of wine or hot mulled cider. After the bath, serve a home cooked meal or order in catering as you choose, complete with candles on the table and special music in the background. Push the furniture back against the walls and create your own dance floor, perhaps even decorating the living room like a romantic ‘dance club’. Dance the night away and see where the mood takes you.

You certainly don’t want to FORCE your wife to do anything she does not want to do! And, if you are really trying to put romance in your life and IF you are sensitive to your wife's preferences and desires, you should have no problem convincing her that you will both enjoy this process.
