Romantic Date Ideas - Visit a Winery

By Dave Pipitone

Romance in your marriage is a two-way street. If you are trying to revive some romance in your marriage, let your wife know what you are trying to do and enjoy the creative process together.

It is important to know your partner well enough to know whether your changed behavior will be a pleasant surprise OR just perceived as odd or unusual behavior.

Go to a local winery, if you have one in your area. Enjoy the wine tasting and browse the shelves. Then buy a bottle, and take a drive to a nearby location and buy some cheese and bread.

Share the feast together on a park bench or even in your car watching the sunset over some beautiful hillside, and listening to a romantic CD in your car.

You certainly don’t want to FORCE your wife to do anything she does not want to do! And, if you are really trying to put romance in your life and IF you are sensitive to your wife's preferences and desires, you should have no problem convincing her that you will both enjoy this process.
